Cleator Moor Celtic won through to the next round in the West Lancs League President’s Cup after their victory over Lytham Town.
The sides faced each other in awful conditions at the Dalton United ground for the semi-final.
Celtic took the lead in the 19th minute through Owen O’Neill.
Ben McCarron doubled the lead on 24 minutes.
However, Lytham struck back early in the second half with Will Eastham scoring on 47 minutes.
But the score stayed that way with both sides spurning chances and Cleator Moor won 2-1.
