
Two drivers have been arrested after they tested positive for cocaine.
Cumbria police said officers arrested a 48-year-old woman from Birmingham at 9.40pm yesterday, March 31, on the M6 northbound, north of Junction 43 at Carlisle.
The woman was driving a Dacia Sandero.
She was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and released under investigation to allow for time for blood test results.
In the early hours of today, Tuesday April 1, a 40-year-old man from Cockermouth was arrested.
He was driving a Fiat Panda when he was arrested at around 4.20am in the town.
