A Cumbrian insurance broker has opened a new purpose-built office at Kirkby Stephen Mart.
H&H Insurance Brokers has invested in the new base to meet the growing demand for its services in the Eden Valley.
The Kirkby Stephen office is led by Amanda Wallbank, who joined the firm as an associate director last year and has more than 30 years’ industry experience.
Amanda said: “It’s a fantastic new facility which signals our ongoing investment and commitment to our clients in the Eden Valley and surrounding areas.
The Kirkby Stephen team also includes farm broker Emilie Handley, and Victoria Twentyman, who leads the in-house claims team.
Amanda added: “The fact that Victoria, Emilie and I all live in the Eden Valley and are part of the farming community means we have a real understanding of the issues and challenges our farmers face.
“By building strong relationships with farmers and gaining a deep understanding of their businesses, I can tailor insurance policies to meet their specific needs.”
Following the opening of the Kirkby Stephen office, the firm now has eight regional offices including Durham, Northallerton, Hexham, Wigton, Newtown St Boswells in the Scottish Borders, and Ruthin and Wrexham in North Wales, in addition to its head office in Carlisle.
Kirkby Stephen Mart, operated by H&H Insurance Brokers’ sister company Harrison & Hetherington, is on Faraday Road in the town. Both companies are part of H&H Group.
