West Cumberland Sunday League will stage another cup final this week at Workington’s Borough Park.
It’s the turn of the Albert Murphy Trophy for the former Workington League sides in the competition and it takes place tomorrow, Thursday, April 10.
Northside, the deposed Premier Division champions, will be keen to lift their first trophy of the season after several years of dominating all the competitions.
They will be up against Dearham, an emerging club over recent years, who picked-up a trophy last season with a win against Northside in the final.
The game will kick off at 7pm on Borough Park and current weather suggests it’s going to be splendid night for watching from the terraces.
