Plans for a new housing estate in Brampton has been revealed.
Charles Church, part of Persimmon, has submitted an application to Cumberland Council for 112 new homes on the land, off Greenfield Lane.
If it gets approval, the development would include semi-detached and detached homes with between two and five bedrooms.
Thirty-three of the homes will be delivered as a mix of intermediate and affordable rent properties, the firm said.
The new homes would be zero carbon ready and benefit from improved energy efficiency, it added. All homes would come fitted with electric vehicle chargers, PV panels and air-source heat pumps.
5.15 acres of public open space would also be provided, equal to 37% of the total site.
Andrew Laing, land director, said: “The proposed development would provide a range of high-quality, energy efficient homes for local buyers in Cumbria and we look forward to continuing our work with Cumberland Council as we progress the application through the planning system.”
