A man has been arrested after reports that someone was trying to steal a motorbike from a West Cumbrian car park.
Cumbria police’s Allerdale Neighbourhood Policing Team said they were alerted about the incident on Cloffocks car park in Workington yesterday evening, Saturday April 12.
When they arrived at the scene, a man attempted to run away but was caught by officers.
He was arrested on suspicion of two attempted thefts of motor vehicles and on suspicion of being drunk in charge of a motor vehicle.
