Three people have been nominated for a West Cumbrian parish council election.
Cumberland Council has published the statement of persons nominated for Seascale Parish Council’s upcoming election for two seats.
The people nominated for election as councillors are:
- Jane Louise Coltman, independent, of Seascale
- Zoe O’Hanlon, independent, of Seascale
- Robert Craig Talbot, of Cumberland
The election will be held on Thursday May 22 between 7am and 10pm.
It comes after villagers in Seascale called for the election following the resignation of two councillors.
It resulted in the authority telling taxpayers it would cost them money in a social media post.
Seascale Parish Council declined to comment about its post.
