Two people have been arrested after concerns were raised over drug dealing in two West Cumbrian communities.
Copeland police said the crime was highlighted in a recent survey of people living in Distington and Hensingham.
Officers have carried out high visibility patrols in the areas and plain clothes patrols have also been taking place for police to gather intelligence.
Following a drugs raid in Distington, a 52-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.
