
A man has been charged with three crimes after police responded to an incident in Millom.
Copeland Police said they were called to Holborn Hill on May 29, after it was alleged that a man had threatened another person with a knife.
Police arrived on scene and arrested a man on suspicion of common assault and threats with a blade in a private place.
Copeland Police added: “Due to the nature of this incident the case was taken to the Crown Prosecution Service who authorised charges of common assault, threats with a blade in a private place and assault of a constable.”
Robert Dias Junior appeared at court yesterday, Saturday May 31 and was remanded again pending trial.
