People can have a first look at The Bridge in Barrow town centre this weekend.
The Bridge is a new community space in Portland Walk and aims to help people find out more about careers available in the town.
An open day will be held on Saturday, June 7, from 10am to 3pm.
There will be music, silent discos, STEM outreach and creative arts activities on offer.
The Bridge is the second stage of BAE Systems’ Portland Walk Campus and will point people towards job opportunities in the local area across different sectors.
Partners include Westmorland & Furness Council, Orsted, the Royal Navy and the army.
Janet Garner, future workforce director at BAE Systems said: “This is a huge milestone for the Portland Walk Campus and it’s a proud moment to see the concept of The Bridge come to life in the heart of Barrow.
“The facility looks fantastic and I hope our community embraces the opportunity and we see more footfall into the town centre.”
Sam Plum, chief executive of Westmorland and Furness Council, said: “I think The Bridge is absolutely fantastic. I didn’t know what to expect but I love it. The Barrow colour theme and the open, welcoming space helps to make it feel like anyone can use it.
“I think it’s a great opportunity for us to get young people, charities, organisations and regular Barrovians in here and spark their imagination about what Barrow can be. It will help us shape our plans for Team Barrow.”
Phil Drane, programme director for Team Barrow, said: “The Bridge is a fantastic facility and will be a really valuable community asset, enhancing the high street and helping in the overall regeneration of the town centre.”
