A former SAS soldier will be in West Cumbria next month to talk about his career in the military.
Michael Hawkes was for several years in 29 Commando and in 22 SAS.
He worked undercover in Northern Ireland and spent two years working alongside MI5 doing counter-terrorism surveillance.
He was captured in Bosnia with former SAS soldier and TV star Billy Billingham.
People can hear about his time in the military at an event at Seaton Village Hall, near Workington, on Saturday July 26 from 6.30pm to 10pm.
