A vehicle fire has closed a South Cumbrian A road.
Cumbria police said officers were currently assisting Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service following the report of a vehicle fire on the A590 near Haverthwaite this afternoon, Wednesday June 11.
Police were called at around 3.30pm.
The road is closed while emergency services deal with the incident.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area and seek alternative routes.
