A Kendal golfer has achieved a Scottish sporting feat for the first time in 57 years.
Will Coxon, 22, won the Tennant Cup last weekend and lifted the Edward Trophy in April.
The last time that happened was in 1968, when Charlie Green won both.
Will shot rounds of 67, 71 around Gailes, and 75, 65 around Killermont for a 278 total, before beating Chris Robb and Craig Davidson in a play-off.
Will is a currently a student at the University of Stirling. He is a member of Carus Green Golf Club in Kendal and plays for the county, coached by Andrew Waple.
