A series of housing estate walkabouts will take place over the next five days to mark Anti-Social Behaviour Awareness Week.
Castles & Coasts Housing Association has organised the walkabouts in nine communities in Cumbria.
Staff will be on hand to chat to residents, hand out leaflets on how to report ASB, and will be joined at points in the week by representatives from other agencies including the police, local authorities and restorative justice charity, Remedi.
Now in its fifth year, the awareness week highlights the impact that anti-social behaviour has on victims and communities, raises awareness of the support available to victims, and promotes partnership working, bringing together councils, housing associations, police, charities, youth organisations and community groups, reflective of the fact that everyone has a role in tackling the issue.
The campaign aims to encourage communities to take a stand against anti-social behaviour and highlight the actions that can be taken by those experiencing it.
The housing association said it had handled 423 anti-social behaviour cases in the 2024-25 financial year.
