Olly Murs moved a young fan to tears at his concert at Cartmel Racecourse.

The pop star performed at the South Cumbrian venue on Friday, June 27.

Olly popped off stage to say hello to the crowd when he noticed 11-year-old Zak was emotional.

Zak was a little overcome with the atmosphere and seeing his hero perform.

Olly went over to ask Zak if he was okay and check on him.

Zak’s mum Catherine Weston-Armstrong said afterwards: “Zak had an amazing day and meeting Olly was his dream.

“For him to take the time to come and see if he was okay was kind and thoughtful.

“Zak can’t wait to see Olly perform again.”

And he won’t have to wait long as Olly got in touch with the racecourse after the concert and has sent Zak and his family free tickets to his gig in North Wales on Friday.

Cartmel Racecourse has also invited Zak and his family back to enjoy a day’s racing in July and sent him a racecard from Friday signed by Olly.
