A fun day will be held later this month in Penrith to celebrate creativity and community spirit.
It will be held on Friday July 25 at Penrith Leisure Centre and organisers promise a vibrant and activity-packed day.
It has been put together by My Community Penrith, co-produced and planned by people with learning disabilities and neurodivergence, for the whole community to enjoy.
This year’s theme is My Community – All About Us – to celebrate the power of working together to create positive change.
My Community Penrith said: “This event is a true celebration of what happens when we come together as a community. It’s been co-created by people with learning disabilities and neurodivergence, and it reflects the creativity, energy, and inclusivity that make our community so special.”
It is being held in partnership with GLL and runs from 10am to 4pm.
