A driver has been taken to hospital following a collision on the A595 in West Cumbria.
The southbound carriageway of the A595 Distington bypass was closed following the incident today, Tuesday July 15, at around 6.50am.
Cumbria police said it involved a single vehicle, a Ford, and the driver had been taken to hospital.
The road was closed from Distington roundabout to the Howgate roundabout.
It has now reopened.
