A man has died after falling from a bridge in the area of the A66 near Keswick.
Emergency services were called at around 9.45am today, Thursday July 17.
The man was declared dead at the scene.
Cumbria police said there were no suspicious circumstances at this time.
The road was closed for several hours and traffic diverted into Keswick.
