
The death of a two-year-old boy in Carlisle is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious, police said.
Emergency services were called at around 4.20pm yesterday, Thursday July 17, to a home on Edderside Drive.
It had been reported that a child was unwell.
The two-year-old was taken to hospital, where he died.
Cumbria police said its officers were carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances of his death.
A spokesman added that his death was being treated as unexplained but there were no suspicious circumstances at this time.
