Furness and Kendal made progress in the ECB National Trophy competition, but Workington were beaten.
Furness visited Southport and Birkdale where the hosts won the toss and opted to bat first, but they were dismissed in 37.5 overs for 155.
Skipper David Snellgrove (24) top-scored for the hosts with most support from tail-ender Thoams Crew (22).
Faizan Ghumann took 4-16 and Harrisn Woods had 3-30 for Furness.
The south Cumbrians got a superb start by openers Sam Storey (91) and Lewis Gribbin (51no) who put on 149 for the first wicket. Storey hit 15 fours and two sixes.
It only took them 23.5 overs to reach their target and progress in the competition, flying the flag for Cumbria along with Kendal.
In their tie Kendal beat Northern League rivals Leyland by five wickets and with only five balls to spare.
Electing to bat first Leyland reached 221-7 with Ross Bretherton (47), Adam Sexton (31no) and Kurtis Watson (31) leading the way. Kendal’s young professional Evan Williams took 3-42.
Kendal were in a bit of trouble at 24-3 but a stand of 73 between Williams and Bradley Earl (38) got them back in the contest.
Although Tim Boyd went cheaply, an unfinished sixth wicket partnership of 95 between Williams (95no) and Finlay Richardson (48no) saw Kendal through to the win.
Iain Critchley took 3-21 for Leyland.
Workington would have been fairly satisfied with their 40-overs total of 161-9 but Garstang’s top order proved match winners as they got to their target with 7.3 overs to spare.
Michael Walling (62no), Tom Higson (44) and Imran Butt (31) saw Garstang home despite the best efforts of the Workington attack in which Adam Chanbers (1-23) was the only wicket-taker.
Wicket-keeper Sam Bates had emerged as Workington’s star with the bat after he made 57 off 50 deliveries with best support from Chambers (29).
