In the picturesque setting of Dalemain House, the romantic parkland and gardens are nestled amidst the breathtaking beauty of the surrounding landscape.

They provided the perfect backdrop for the recent opening outdoor event for the North West Driving Club.

The club’s yearly trials drew a robust turnout of 23 participants, all treated to near-ideal weather conditions.

Featuring a diverse field of pairs, novices, juniors, and open carriage teams, the competition showcased the driving prowess of each entrant.

The day kicked off with dressage and cones in the morning, followed by an afternoon of three obstacle challenges and a brisk marathon.

Vince Brand, of Arenberg Photography, went along to capture some of the action.
