Due to overwhelming demand, Amy Bateman’s Forty Farms outdoor exhibition near Kendal will stay open until the end of June.
The exhibition, in association with H&H, is at Low Sizergh Barn near Kendal.
It opened in November and has attracted so many visitors and so much critical acclaim that the free exhibition, installed along a two-mile farm and woodland walk is being extended.
The Forty Farms Outdoor Exhibition features the work of the British Life Photographer of the Year, documenting her journey to record the stories and images of Forty Farms in Cumbria, and the dedication, pride and humour of the farmers who produce our food in this beautiful landscape.
Nina Oxley, of H&H Group, said: “Located on the outskirts of Kendal, this easy two-mile path and woodland trail, through the spectacular scenery of Low Sizergh Farm, makes this a perfect walk for families and dogs.
“Those visiting not only discover a wealth of information about farming and food, but they can also buy produce from local farms at the Low Sizergh Barn Farm Shop, some of it from farms featured in the exhibition.”
There is also a countryside quiz for younger visitors, and everyone can round off their day with home-made, locally produced food and drinks at the Low Sizergh Barn Café.
The exhibition is open daily, 9am to 5.30pm and entry is free.
