
A woman had to be rescued after she was trapped in her car following a crash.
Firefighters from Sedbergh Fire Station were called to the incident yesterday, May 17.
Crews from Sedbergh and Lancaster worked with North West Ambulance Servie and Lancashire police to release the woman from the vehicle that had left the road and landed in a shallow stream.
Sedbergh Fire Station said: “A huge thanks to the lorry driver (an ex-firefighter from Bentham Fire Station)from Myers Building Supplies for stabilising the vehicle prior to our arrival on scene.”
