[A] Northern accounting and software systems supplier has been named Pegasus Software Partner of the Year 2017 for the Northern region.

Monpellier, which has offices in Durham and Carlisle, has been recognised above all other partner businesses across the North of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland for its high sale volumes in the last financial year.

The firm has demonstrated consistent growth over the past ten years, overtaking several much larger companies to become Pegasus number one sales partner and, with five fully trained and qualified Pegasus support staff as well as trained sales staff, they are also classified as a Centre of Excellence.

As one of the largest providers of enterprise level financial accounting and CRM software, EPOS systems and IT support in the North of the UK, Monpellier supply businesses across the region with leading, customisable accounting software, technical expertise and professional, accounting advice.

Director, Tom Cram joined the business as they became a Pegasus partner 13 years ago and is delighted to see the hard work of his team be recognised with this title.

He said: “This means a great deal to everyone at Monpellier as it acknowledges that our team has the most experienced Pegasus consultants in the channel, who give excellent customer service. With well over 100 years’ Pegasus knowledge within the team, we’re proud of the wealth of expertise we can offer our clients.”

Following its success, Monpellier is already expanding with the appointment of Joe Routledge as account manager for the North West and Scotland, as well as two apprentices in the Carlisle office. The North East office is also planning expansion with the recruitment of a Digital Marketing Executive who will be responsible for the promotion of the business online.

Speaking of the award, Pegasus Sales and Marketing Director, Stuart Anderson, said: “Monpellier has worked hard to become not only our Software Partner of the Year 2017 for the region, but was also our top performing business partner in the UK for the last quarter of the financial year. We look forward to seeing more great work from the team over the next year and beyond.”

Monpellier is a one stop shop for all business IT needs. As well as being a Pegasus Business Partner, they are also a Sage Business Partner, Kamarin Computers EPOS and Zynk Software Partners. They have partnered with PCI Services who supply and support IT hardware and infrastructure who are located adjacent to their Durham office. This enables the firms to operate as one company in supplying a full end to end business IT solution and hosted telephony.
