Mark Williams

A world expert in social media is the headline speaker at a business networking event in Kendal this month.

Mark Williams, also known as Mr LinkedIn, will be sharing everything businesses need to know about making the most out of LinkedIn at the next LA23NET event taking place at Kendal College on Wednesday, September 13.

Since beginning delivering Linkedin training sessions in 2008, Mark has trained thousands of users from all over the world in a diverse range of industries and roles.

He is also an accomplished keynote speaker, author and award winning podcaster with his popular weekly show LinkedInformed.

The event, LA23NET: Back to School with Mr LinkedIn, will give attendees a chance to put all of Mark’s advice into action during a live analysis of someone’s profile.

Mark said: “It’s great to be delivering a session like this in-person at the next LA23NET. So much of my work since the pandemic is online these days. I’m also excited about the format where I will be providing real feedback on someone’s profile, engagement, and posts so it will be a very practical session.

“I hope that attendees will experience at least one paradigm shift in terms of how they see LinkedIn and what it can do for them. The back-to-school theme of the event sounds like a lot of fun too.”

LA23NET: Back to School with Mr LinkedIn marks the return of the Cumbrian business networking event following a break over the summer.

Event organiser Helen Statham, co-founder of Intro PR which runs the LA23NET events, said: “We have been trying to bring Mark to Cumbria for a few years as his expertise with LinkedIn is simply immense. He has done over 400 podcasts on the subject and is a brilliant trainer.

“I’m really excited for Mark to kick off our new season of events – it’s amazing to get a chance to bring a LinkedIn world expert to Cumbria.”

The event, sponsored by NXT Recruitment, The Cumberland, Harrison Drury and Edwin Thompson, will be held at Kendal College on Wednesday September 13.
