[A] BODY has been found in the search for missing person Julie Forster.
The body was found at around 11.30am on Friday, September 1 near the fishing lake on Greencroft Industrial Estate, Annfield Plain, near Stanley.
A spokesman for Durham Police said: “Formal identification has taken place and we can confirm the body as that of Mrs Forster.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file is being prepared for the coroner.”
