[T]WO men have appeared at Carlisle Crown Court and admitted being involved in the supply of heroin.
In the dock together today (MON) were city man Craig William Metcalfe, 36, and 21-year-old Stuart Baker.
During a short hearing in front of Judge Peter Davies, Metcalfe and Baker each pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of heroin. This is said to have occurred between New Year’s Day and mid-February.
Metcalfe also admitted offering to supply the controlled class C drug, Xanax, to another between October last year and mid-March.
Judge Davies adjourned the case and granted conditional bail to both defendants.
Metcalfe, of Gilsland Road, Carlisle, and Baker, of Leicester Street, Southport, were told they would be sentenced at the crown court in the week of December 18.
