
[T]he Kendal office of Rathbone Investment Management is celebrating following the company achieving national recognition for its work with charities.
Rathbones’ charity team was delighted to win the Investment Manager of the Year award for the second year running at the 18th Annual Charity Times Awards on 4 October.
The awards celebrate best practice in the UK charity and not-for-profit sector and Rathbones, were one of seven investment management firms shortlisted. The ceremony, run by Charity Times, took place at the Park Plaza on Westminster Bridge with winners announced by comedian Shappi Khorsandi.
Rathbones which was established in 1742 and has had a team based in the South Lakes for over twenty years, was recognised for its support of the charities sector.
Recently the Kendal based team has run charity trustee training workshops in order to better equip local charity trustees by offering free advice and training.
