John Stevenson MP

[J]ohn Stevenson MP will be hosting Carlisle Skills Fair at the Sands Centre in Carlisle from 2pm – 7pm on Thursday 25th January 2018.

The 5th Carlisle Skills Fair will give young people and jobseekers an opportunity to take a look at the training, job and career options available in and around Carlisle. There will be representatives on hand from businesses and organisations to discuss the options available.

John said: “I am pleased that Carlisle Skills Fair has been such a success that I have been able to make it an annual event for Carlisle. 2018 will be the fifth year in a row that local businesses and training providers have showcased the skills and job opportunities available locally.

“In order for Carlisle’s local economy to thrive, we need bright and talented people from Carlisle to stay in Carlisle. In order for our local workforce to stay in Carlisle, we need to show them that Carlisle has something to offer them in return. I am confident that Carlisle Skills Fair has been helping to achieve this.

To sign up to attend Carlisle Skills Fair 2018, visit: www.carlisleskillsfair.co.uk and enter your details.

Any businesses who would like to attend but have not yet booked an exhibition stand, please email hannah.dolan@parliament.uk
