[I]f you’re currently investigating possible next-steps when you leave school, a unique event being held next week could have the answers you are looking for.

To coincide with National Apprenticeship Week – #NAW2018 – the National Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) is holding an information session exclusively for students and their parents or guardians so they can find out directly about the Apprenticeships it offers.

NNL has a thriving Apprenticeship programme, which has now been in place for 10 years. Every year, it offers a wide range of Apprenticeship opportunities including those in Science, Engineering, Project Management and Business. NNL offers apprenticeships up to degree level.

Natalie White, Early Careers Advisor from NNL, said next week’s information session was a great way to not only mark NNL’s involvement with the National Apprenticeship programme but also offer Cumbrians who might be interested in developing their career through an Apprenticeship, a unique opportunity to explore the opportunities offered by NNL.

She said: “Apprenticeships are a very important part of our recruitment strategy and help to ensure young people are equipped with vital skills for a career with us, and beyond.

“We are very pleased to be able to speak directly with people from across the county about the opportunities and would invite anyone who is interested in learning more about us and our programme to come along and speak with people from across the business”

Visitors will also be able to meet current Apprentices who are involved in the programme and find out first-hand what it has to offer.

The event will take place on Thursday, 8th March, between 2.30pm and 7pm at the Energus Centre, Blackwood Road, Lillyhall, CA14 4JW. For more information please call Natalie White on 07525897037.

Additionally, if you want to chat with some of our current apprentices, you can join our WhatsApp group by putting this link into your phone’s browser: https://chat.whatsapp.com/IIBiO4NaKgCIctEP6Ny8Kw
