[P]olice are appealing for information following a robbery at a property in Kirkby Lonsdale.

The robbery occurred at 9pm yesterday (8th March) at a property on Horse Market.

Offenders have forced entry to the victim’s home and one has punched her. Both suspects have then demanded keys which they have subsequently made off with.

The victim, a woman in her 60s, suffered minor injuries.

The keys stolen are for Isaacs Jewellers on Main Street, Kirkby Lonsdale.

Detective Inspector Charlotte Nutter, South Cumbria CID, said: “This was a terrifying ordeal for the victim and we are calling on the public for their help in identifying the offenders.

“If you have any information or witnessed anything suspicious in the area of Horse Market or Isaacs Jewellers yesterday evening please get in touch.

“We believe the suspects to be two adult males wearing dark clothing.

“If you have any information, no matter how insignificant you may deem it, please do not hesitate to get in touch.”

Anyone with any information is asked to email 101@cumbria.police.uk or call 101 quoting incident number 207 of the 8th March. Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
