A man sustained a serious head injury in an evening assault in Carlisle.
It happened in the front car park of the Arroyo Arms, in Harraby, at around 5.35pm yesterday, Monday July 21.
The man was taken to hospital having sustained a serious head injury and the suspect left the scene.
The suspect was described as wearing all black.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward with details of the incident and how the assault took place.
