[W]orkington GO is back! Following a successful launch last year, this popular event is back on Saturday 19 May with an amazing mix of activities running from 11am – 4pm in Vulcan Park, Workington Hall Parklands, and Workington Leisure Centre.

Organised by Workington Town Council with support from GLL, the event offers the opportunity to get active and try something new. Best of all, the sessions are completely free of charge and you can participate in as many as you like.

The packed programme includes archery, canoeing, cheerleading, climbing, maze, netball, orienteering, PAN disability football, panna football, skateboarding / BMX, snorkelling, street art (Graffiti), trampolining and walking football.

The sessions are led by professional instructors and are suitable for complete beginners; no previous experience is required.

Places are limited so pre-booking is essential via www.visitworkington.co.uk/workingtongo

Workington Town Council is looking to extend the offering at this event so if there are any local community groups who would like to run a session or get involved in other ways then please get in touch.
