[T]he Dogs Trust are hosting a Community Event at the Evergreen Hall on Bluebell Lane in Penrith on Monday 16 April 2018 from 11am-3pm, where dog owners can come along with their pets and access free microchip and basic health care checks.
The Event in Penrith is being supported by Eden District Council’s Community Wardens. Senior Community Warden, Becky Duckworth said: “The Community Events we host with the Dogs Trust are a fantastic opportunity for dog owners to get free advice and support for their four legged friends.
“This support includes free dog microchipping, which is of course now the law. Dogs Trust are also able to offer a free check your chip service and advise about how to update the registered details. The free basic dog health checks includes your pet’s ears, teeth, coat condition and general fitness. So please pop along with your dog to benefit from this opportunity on Monday 16 April.”
