[A] mother living at an address in Penrith has appeared before District Judge Gerald Chalk sitting in the magistrate’s court in Carlisle,
The woman pleaded guilty to causing ill treatment/neglect or causing unnecessary suffering/injury, to her children.
The judge was told that police found her in her home which was in a mess, dirty, unkempt and untidy and she had been drinking.
The judge sent the case for sentencing to Carlisle Crown Court to he heard on May 11, a pre-sentence report was requested, her name and address cannot be reported for legal reasons.
