[O]n 02/04/2018 at approximately 4.50pm, two unknown girls in their early teens have entered B&M Bargains on Wigton Road, Carlisle, in possession of fraudulent £50 notes.
One of the notes has been used to purchase a small amount of miscellaneous items amounting to £4.86 and they have been given £45.16 in change.
They attempted to use a second one for another small purchase but when questioned by staff have left the store and made off in an unknown direction.
Police are looking for identification of either of the female suspects, who were described as having Irish accents.
