[S]ix members of staff from Progression Solicitors and their Managing Director have signed up take part in the gruelling local obstacle course Gelt Gladiator.

In doing so they hope to raise £1000 for Cancer Research.  The team consists of Stephanie Walker, Julie Harrison, Kayleigh Rose, Kim Beattie, Aliysa Gallagher and Scott Salisbury. They have also managed to ‘rope in’ MD Anthony Smith and local business woman Sophia Newton of Flock.

The team have started a running club on a Monday evening in Ulverston , as well as running individually throughout the week. Kayleigh, Legal Secretary, whose aim is to run at least 3 times a week to get into shape for the event said “It’s been a great experience already, we’re all loving spending time together outside of work doing something different. Some of the team have never done any running or anything before but we’re determined that we’ll all work together to get round the course’.

The event takes place on Saturday 9 June 2017 at the beautiful Gelt Woods close to Carlisle and involves a variety of challenges from the mudcrawl to the ice plunge and gauntlet run. You can donate to Team Progression on their http://www.justgiving.com/TeamProgression?utm_id=22
