Books, toys, clothes, kitchenware, gardening goods and films are among the many things that turn up at local Freegle Give & Take events.

[H]ave a spring clean in your house and garden, and pass on all the things you don’t need any more at the Freegle Give & Take event in Kirkby Stephen next weekend. Or just come along and take away free things that you need.

You’ll also be able to check out the composters and digesters available at a much reduced price from Recycle Cumbria. Judith from Cumbria County Council will be on hand to show you how they work.

No large goods, please, as the event is upstairs.

Refreshments will be on sale and there’s a colouring corner for children.

The event is on Saturday 21 April from 10.30am to 12.30pm, at the Sports and Social Club on Market Street.

Organised by Kirkby Stephen Community Arts with support from Penrith & Eden Freegle and Cumbria County Council.
