[O]2, the mobile phone network, will soon be launching its 4G service in Elterwater. The successful implementation of the 4G network will allow its customers to experience a new level of high speed mobile internet.

They’ll be able to stream high definition TV, shop on the go and use video calling. In addition to the launch of 4G, O2 is upgrading its 2G and 3G network in the area as part of its Network Modernisation Programme.
O2 currently offers 4G in over 17,000 cities, towns and villages across the UK and spends the equivalent of £2 million a day on strengthening its network and increasing its reach.
