[A] group of more than 30 architects, planners and planning committee members have visited the Ambleside campus of the University of Cumbria.
Organised by the Lancaster and Westmorland Society of Architects (LAWSA) the event was arranged with the planning department of the Lake District National Park Authority (LDNPA) to raise the profile of architecture and good design in the region.
The group toured The Barn, the RIBA Award winning ‘hub’ of the campus, and heard from designer Tony Skipper.
