Reays Training Coach

[R]eays Coaches Ltd are delighted to announce the opening of their new Driving Academy.

The new academy will deliver driver training programmes focusing on a consistent service delivery standard across their workforce, creating new employment opportunities and providing standardised centralised training.

Reays introduction of the Driving Academy complements a change of strategy in the recruitment of drivers, focusing on a greater emphasis on attracting new people with a passion for delivering an exceptional service experience. These individuals will then be trained by the company to drive coaches.

Operations Director of Reays Coaches, Steve Crossley said: “Our drivers play a vital role in attracting and retaining our customers. They are our ambassadors and therefore we must ensure they receive the right training and the very best training. Delivering a tailored programme in-house, ensures we deliver this.”

“I’m therefore proud and pleased to launch our own bespoke training programme, which has been designed to meet the specific needs of our business, places our driver training at the forefront of the coach industry and lays the foundations for further progress. As well as underlining our commitment to recruiting the right people, our training programme extends to the retention of existing drivers, offering them ongoing training and development to progress their careers in different sectors of the coaching industry, for example into corporate driving. Ultimately, we hope to achieve the right balance between the importance of being a good, safe and reliable driver and an outstanding customer service provider both now and long into the future.”

The Reays Driving Academy will be promoted using a rebranded, training coach which is used for the practical aspect of driver training. This coach is bold in its design and it is hoped this will attract attention to those currently looking for employment or considering a change of career.
