A woman has died following a road traffic collision on the A74(M) at Junction 15 (Moffat) at the flyover of the A701 road.
The collision occurred around 3:15pm on 26th September 2018 and involved a silver coloured Volkswagen Golf 5.
The female passenger, a 69-year-old woman was transferred to hospital.
The passenger, has been named as Jean Dennis from Maidenhead, she died in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital this morning, Tuesday 2 October 2018.
The driver, Nicholas Dennis, 72, from Maidenhead was pronounced dead at the scene.
Constable Lloyd Caven said: “We continue to carry out enquiries into the incident and have spoken to a number of witnesses, however, I would still like to hear from anyone who may have seen the vehicle travelling northbound on the motorway shortly before the collision at junction 15.”
