COPELAND residents can now access a range of services online.
The Council Tax Portal allows residents to set up a direct debit, view council tax details, report a change of address and search for a council tax band.
Copeland Borough Council is urging residents to pay their council tax bills through direct debit using the portal.
Direct Debit benefits include:
- bills never being forgotten, lost or delayed in the post as payments are automatically made each month
- assuring that you are dealing with reputable organisations who have to pass a careful vetting process to use the Direct Debit scheme
- the direct debit guarantee also ensures customers get an immediate money back guarantee from your bank in the event of an error in payment, advance notice if the date or amount changes and gives those who sign up the right to cancel at any time
Residents can access the portal through the Council’s website www.copeland.gov.uk.
