Police are investigating an attempted burglary which took place at approximately 11:20pm on Monday 3rd December at West Cumbria Outdoors, Roper Street, Whitehaven, during which damage was caused to the door of the premises.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “Officers are seeking to identify any witnesses to the incident and information relating to the identity of the offenders involved.”
