Police are investigating an incident whereby a 14-year-old boy was assaulted by two boys whilst walking home from school in Carlisle.

The incident occurred at 4:10pm on Monday 3rd December on the corner of Parham Grove and Marks Avenue.

A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The victim was approached by two unknown boys who then punched the victim causing bleeding to his nose and swelling to his cheek and jaw.

“The first boy was approximately 14-years-old, 5ft 2 ins in height, light brown hair shaved to the sides, of chubby build, local accent, wearing a blue and red hoody with grey jogging bottoms and was riding a red bike.

“The second boy was approximately 14-years-old, 5ft 6ins in height, fluffy blonde hair, tall skinny build, wearing a grey hoody and grey jogging bottoms and was riding a green bike.

“We are looking for any witnesses to come forward who may have been in the area at that time and also the police are wishing to speak to an unknown woman who may have spoken to the victim and possibly the driver of a Red Honda Civic who stopped at the scene.”
