New car dealership, AG Motors, has opened its forecourt in Barrow town centre.

Based on Ironworks Road, AG Motors began trading for the first time this month and is owned by Barrow businessman George Coulter and his wife Andrea Coulter.

George and Andrea have opened the doors on this new business venture following the success of their printing business HSP Milners based next-door to AG Motors.

George Coulter, AG Motors owner, said: “We’re excited to be launching a new venture and taking on a new challenge within the motor industry. The space next to HSP Milners is perfect for a car dealership and it’s a passion of ours that we’re thrilled to be turning into a new business.”

AG Motors will be stocking a range of vehicles; from first-time cars through to prestige motors and has launched the business with 10 cars currently available.

George Coulter added: “The quality of the vehicles we offer is so important to us. We have spent 34 years building a reputation as a trusted Barrow business and we’re going to work hard to retain that with AG Motors too.”
