Local housebuilder introduces new house types as part of Phase 3b
Story Homes has announced that it will be launching Phase 3b of The Ridings development in Carlisle on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 June. As part of the new development phase, Story Homes will be launching 10 new house type designs including a mixture of two, three and four-bedroom properties as part of ‘The Story Collection.’
The Story Collection incorporates the best of a Story home in terms of design and elevations to retain the housebuilder’s unique street scenes, and internal layouts to offer modern, open plan living spaces. The new offering includes the four-bedroom ‘Hewson’ and ‘Emmerson’ house types and all of the new products have been named after staff who work for the Carlisle-headquartered business.
During the launch event, Story Homes’ knowledgeable Sales Executives will be on hand from 10.30am – 4.30pm at The Ridings marketing suite to provide information about the new development phase and the new collection of house types available as part of the scheme.

The Ridings is a beautiful development of two, three, and four-bedroom homes, and is ideally located just two miles from Carlisle city centre. The Ridings has been a very popular development with customers over the past few years thanks to its rural feel, yet close proximity to the restaurants and shops of the city centre. In fact, a number of Story staff members believe in the homes and the development so much that they have purchased their own homes at The Ridings.
Sarah Lupton, Field Sales Manager at Story Homes, said: “I purchased a ‘Hereford’ home at The Ridings last year as this has always been my favourite house type – I love the skylight windows in the lounge and the size of the master bedroom. Having worked at The Ridings as a Sales Executive for a number of years I know the site really well and love the location. I’m over the moon that I was actually able to buy the Hereford, I never thought I would be able to afford one.”
