Two fire engines have attended a fire on Carleton Close, Carleton, Carlisle involving a first floor bedroom of a domestic property.
Fire crews were called at 10:43am today, Monday 18 November.
A Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and one positive pressure ventilation unit to extinguish the fire.
“Crews were in attendance for one hour and thirty minutes.”
