Police appeal after cars stolen in Workington

Police are appealing for witnesses after two cars were stolen from the same owner in Fell View Walk, Moorclose, Workington.

One was an electric blue Ford Focus, registration NC55 EWU.

The other was a silver Fiat Bravo, registration WN08 PXP.

The theft occurred between January 15 and 31.

Any witnesses or anyone who has spotted the cars are asked to contact PC 2764 Williamson on 101 – or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Police are also investigating the theft of a Land Rover Discovery that was later recovered.

The grey vehicle, registration K422 WDH, was stolen from Rowe Terrace, Workington.

The theft occurred between 2.30pm on January 17 and 8.30am the following day.

The Land Rover was recovered on January 21 from the Harrington area.

Officers are appealing for any information anyone has, including CCTV or dashcam footage, as they investigate.

Call officers on 101, referring to incident 45 of January 18.

Residents are reminded make sure their vehicles are secured.
