Police have confirmed that a man found deceased on 14 February in the Edenhall area has been identified as Peter Wakefield, 76, of Penrith.
Peter was reported missing on Friday 14 February, his body was found at 3:40pm later that day.
A Cumbria Police spokesman said: “The death is not being treated as suspicious and the family have been informed.
“They have asked for privacy at this time.”
